Profound, velvety, rich ruby colour. Lovely mature fruit nose, rich jam/compote aroma - notes of quince. Undertones of leather and spice. On the palate the wine is very smooth, with fruit flavours of cherry, plum, prune, date - an attractive hint of spice. Medium, bodied - nicely weighted.
