The House of Ryst-Dupeyron is proud to be the only producer able to offer nearly all Armagnac vintages since 1868. The rarest being the oldest - these exceptional armagnacs are preserved in 30 litre demi-johns and bottled by hand to order. These outstanding vintages that can be personnalized with the name of the collector, are available in very limited quantities and have never been blended with other eaux-de-vie, making them the 'haute couture' of spirits. Vintage Armagnac makes a wonderful gift for numerous occasions, be it a birth, wedding anniversary or any other celebration, offering a little bit of history in a bottle, a journey back through time as one remembers these elixirs quietly aging in our cellars.
Whilst these brandies are vintage ones, it is important not to forget the armagnac blends of 5, 10, 15 and 20 years old with their individual strengths, complexity and fruitiness, better known as V.S.O.P, Napoleon, Hors d'Age and X.O.
Five successive generations of the family have continued the family business with the same amount of passion following the same objective : maintaining a constant quality.
Joseph Dupeyron, the founder of the company, was a distiller, obtaining awards at the Exposition Universelle in 1900 for his Armagnacs. It is in Condom, in the cellar of the splendid “Hotel de Cugnac”, estate of the family, where lie these worldwide reputed eaux-de-vie praised by d’Artagnan.
